Below is a list of vines occuring in Mississippi that I have drawn either from specimens I collected locally in Okitbbeha County, Mississippi, or from herbarium specimens from the collection of Sydney McDaniel, former curator of the former herbarium at Mississippi State University. The list is not all inclusive by any means, but should give a good idea of the genera we have here in Mississippi at any rate. Many of the collections were from my yard (17 acres) located in the Sessums Community at the edge of Starkville, Mississippi in Oktibbeha County, which is in the Black Belt Prairie region of our state.
